Jaana Kukk becomes Idea’s new creative director

Known for holding the same position at Newton, Jaana has been in charge of corporate identity and branding for a number of leading companies in Estonia, such as Swedbank, Farmi dairy, Eesti Ekspress, Eesti Päevaleht newspaper, Ergo insurance and many others

 

Jaana Kukk says Idea offers an opportunity for broader output. “At Idea, I’ll have access to a great many communication tools and a team with multifaceted abilities. That will allow me to integrate all stages of a creative campaign and give my skills even better leverage. The talented, international creative team is a big part of what makes Idea special, and I believe that working with them, we’ll be carrying out some pretty exciting projects,“ said Kukk.

Idea AD director Märten Liinat says Jaana fills out the team with branding know-how and open-minded view of the possibilities of using various outputs. “Jaana’s energy and systematic approach, and her ability to see the life of a brand in the longer perspective are qualities that add value both to corporate clients with a well-developed style as well as to companies starting out with a new brand. I also have a high regard for her capability in sparking enthusiasm on a team and understanding what clients need,“ added Liinat.

Besides Kukk, the summer brought some other new hires to Idea creative team: AD Hanna Jõers and copywriter Kaarel Kärner, who were previously at Zavod ad agency.
